Me: How this fashion blogger, turned model/actress, turned Business & Mindset Coach turned Brand Manager from the little island of Jamaica broke the poverty cycle and is well on her way to building generational wealth.
You: How’d you do it?
Me: My past has made me who I am today for that I am proud, but I also don’t let it determine my future. I realized I had to learn how to get out of poverty and learn money, myself and mindset.
You: Any tips for me?
Me: Learning is earning. I rewrote my past and killed the old version of me who couldn’t help but self sabotage. Don’t be afraid to pick up the pen and write a new chapter in your life. Your thoughts become things, your priorities trace back to your actions. Work on re-writing your story every day, in the morning is best.
You: Why?
Me: Whenever you first wake up, for most of us that’s mornings, but it doesn’t have to be. Mornings are optimal because you are in a waking state of consciousness.
This is when your Beta brain waves are most active. This is when you’re in a heightened state of logic and reasoning. What you absorb during this state can determine your level of functioning throughout the day.
Gain clarity for yourself, work on becoming a better you. I use this time to pray, meditate and journal. I focus inward first before I let outside circumstances affect my energy.

Me: Remember what I said about learning is earning? *kisses your forehead * This routine has helped me to break free from not only poverty but a victim’s mindset. I had to shift mentally before I could shift my reality. Master your mindset and you can master it all. This takes two important resources, one of them being time.
You: Oh damn

After a decade of studying the greats I noticed all “successful” people had one thing in common. They found their flow.
I’ve attended events where I would watch Tony Robbins tap into it right on stage with hundreds if not thousands of people watching. I saw artists like Ice Cube and 50 cent tap into it after they shook my hand and got back to their work. I watched online as Oprah and Les Brown referred back to it time and time again on YouTube, masked in deep discussions of the mindset shifts, and habits of successful people. I would eagerly listen as Vishen Lakhiani and Deepak would teach it in their masterclasses.
